Position Description

As the Enterprise Business Development Representative, you’ll play a multi-faceted role working with the CEO to lead the go-to-market strategy and build the revenue generation function. As you learn and grow in this role, you’ll forge your own path as it relates to your career trajectory. You will build and may choose to eventually oversee the Business Development team, or progress onto being the lead salesperson as an Account Executive, or move into a different specialized role as the company grows.

You’ll not only be responsible for building a pipeline and providing general sales support in areas such as market intelligence, customer segmentation strategies, and prospecting plans. This role’s primary goal is to grow the number of unique and qualified encounters with prospects and execute on business development strategy. Your target prospects will be executives of large medical groups, who will require highly personalized, creative, high-quality outreach.

This role will be based out of Third Way Health’s Headquarters in Los Angeles, CA. The expectation is to work in the office 2-3 days per week.

Candidate Responsibilities

  • Conduct targeted, relationship-building, outbound telephone calls & emails to prospects to identify decision makers and qualify opportunities with the goal of setting qualified appointments 
  • Generate leads via email, phone, social media, and other creative methods
  • Collaborate with the CEO to follow-up with interested prospects and managing opportunities to close 
  • Attend industry conferences and tradeshows to build relationships and generate qualified sales pipeline
  • Utilize deep market analyses to understand local patterns, customer segments, and high-value targets
  • Implement demand-gen/sales enablement software, as well as workflows
  • Aim to act as single point of contact for newly interested providers and practices
  • Contribute new ideas and share best practices with a rapidly scaling international team
  • Track activities, leads, and pending deals in Salesforce (CRM) and participate in sales meetings and calls with internal and external teams
  • Must be comfortable recording videos and podcasts to amplify the Third Way Health brand

Candidate Qualifications

  • At least 2+ years of experience in an outbound prospecting capacity to C-Suite executives
  • Healthcare experience working with medical practices or hospitals is preferred
  • Self-driven & high-performing individual that brings a matching energy and enthusiasm
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational ability and consistent follow up
  • Team player & dynamic problem solver
  • Passionate about Third Way Health’s mission to improve the healthcare system  
  • Must have some experience with Salesforce, Sales Navigator, or any similar prospecting technology 
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
